What Possibilities!

.

Potentiality for favorable or interesting results.

.

As each day stretches out in front of us and what it holds no one knows. Nor would it be especially good to know. But all of us have the opportunity to be proactive in a positive way to bring about desirable results.

.

There is a fish named koi. It’s a Japanese carp with seemingly unlimited growth potential. But with that, there have been some interesting observations made regarding this fish.

.

If the koi is placed in a small fish bowl, its growth is restricted and may only grow two or three inches. Place a koi in a larger tank or a small pond and it will possibly grow six to ten inches. In a still larger pond the koi reaches a foot and half. But put the koi into a large lake where it really has room to stretch out and its been known to grow up to three feet long.

.

You know, it also works that way in our world. Too many of us are in a little fish bowl because of small or negative thinking.

.

Why not resolve to take the limits off and stretch out beyond the boundaries. We may have self-imposed limitations that may hold us back. If we fail or have limited success, it could be because of preconceived thoughts that may raise invisible barriers and limit progress.

.

Start thinking bigger. Take the limits off. Don’t wall yourself in by refusing to stretch the boundaries you yourself have set up! Break through the limitations.

.

People speak of learning the hard way. What a poor way to learn.

.

Why not decide to grow and learn and be worth more to yourself, your family, friends, etc.

.

It’s been said that school is never out for the pro.

.

Self-development is a lifelong project. Let’s stay out of the little fish bowl and resolve to stretch out as we begin each day.
