Council AFA-CWA Members,
We Need You!
Volunteers are needed to help AFA-CWA's efforts to make
our technical correction to the Family and Medical Leave
Act a reality. This week over 12,000 letters were sent
to AFA-CWA member encouraging them to call their elected
congressional members to support and co-sponsor our
legislation. We need to send an additional 8,000 to
10,000 letters. This is a very labor intensive effort
and we need volunteers to get these letters out to our
union members.
If you have a couple of hours to volunteer and assist
this effort you could make the difference. We need your
help on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week to
get these letters labeled and in the mail this week. If
you can volunteer please email me at alin@afausairways.org
or call 571.213.0781 to help us in the effort.
This project is taking place at the AFA-CWA
International Office in Washington, DC. We need you to
take this off the negotiating table.
