Council AFA-CWA Members,
Delta Get Out the
Vote Campaign
The ballots for the
Delta Certification have been mailed and our Delta Mobilization Campaign is
about to begin. We are asking the AFA Members at US Airways to help out at call
centers or to assist in a visibility campaign (Walking the Terminals at
specified airports) to make this campaign a success.
Council 41 is
sponsoring two days at the call center in Washington DC. The call center will be
open from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on Tuesday April 29 and April 30. There will be
10 opening per shift per day. The three shifts are 10:00am – 1:00pm, 1:00pm –
4:00pm or 4:00pm – 7:00pm. If you can assist, please contact Alin Boswell, Steve
Schembs or Stephen Smith. The Washington D.C. Call center will be at the AFA-CWA
International Headquarter, 501 3rd Street NW, Washington DC 2001.

AFA-CWA also needs
members to staff call centers at various locations around the U.S. Delta Get out
the Vote Call Centers will be set up in Atlanta, Cincinnati, Dallas, Washington
D.C., Fort Lauderdale, New York City, Los Angeles and Salt Lake City. If you are
able to work at one of these locations, please send an e-mail with your Name,
Airline, Domicile, Employee Number, Address, Phone Number, E-Mail Address and
Available Days to Steve Schembs at
GOTV@DeltaAFA.org. Your information will be directed to the appropriate call
center coordinator.
