Dear
Council AFA-CWA Members,
It Is Election Time!
While you may not live in Iowa or New Hampshire it is
election time for your local executive council officers
(LEC).
Over the next couple of days you will receive nomination
ballots LEC officers. This is first step in the process
of electing your LEC officers for the next 3 years.
In accordance with Article VIII of the Constitution and
Bylaws, all Councils in Election Category II must
nominate and elect officers for the term beginning July
1, 2008 and ending June 30 2011 (Three year term). Local
Council officers to be elected will be LEC President,
LEC Vice President and LEC Secretary.
As a member in good standing , you have the right to
nominate candidates for office, to run for office and to
cast a secret ballot. I urge you to exercise your right
and participate in the process.
The final election ballot will follow in the next couple
of weeks.
