RESERVE OFF DAY ETB RESTRICTION CHANGE
The Company and AFA entered into discussions concerning the use of the Electronic Trade Board and have agreed on a trial basis for Reserve flight attendants to pick up trips on all days off without being released into such days off.
Specifically this means reserves will be able to pick up trips via the ETB on OFF days in advance. The buffers for ETB trip pick up will still apply. This change went into effect this morning at 0700 EST.
This will result in a procedural change for reserve processing if there is a conflict with trips flown on AVL days and a trip previously picked up via the ETB. A chart outlining the process and conflict resolution is posted on the MEC website at:

This change should allow reserves more latitude in picking up trips.
