Candi Lee (Beattie) Covelli, 56, of Moon Township, died
unexpectedly Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at her home. She
was born August 27th, 1952 in New Kensington, PA.
A graduate of Springdale High School, Candi turned to
the airline for a career. She was employed with US
Airways for 37 years and spent the last half of her
career as the PIT LEC Secretary, PIT LEC Safety Chair,
MEC Uniform Chair and the current MEC Grievance
Assistant. She also served on several committees for the
LEC Office in Charlotte and was always available to the
flight attendants when called upon. She was a trusted
and loving friend who will be greatly missed.
Candi is survived by her beloved daughter Ashley
Corbett; sisters Cathy McNally, Colina Hall and Michelle
Parks; brothers John Siciliano, Fred Parks, and James
Marsh; aunts Betty Simpkins, Joyce Michel and Mae Miller
and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was
preceded in death by her parents David and Dolores (Pelegrinelli)
Beattie; her infant son Patrick, her sister Jeannie
Griffith and her brother David Parks.
Visitation will be Sunday 1:00 PM -4:00 PM and 6:00
PM-9:00 PM at Copeland's Moon Township, 981 Brodhead

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
