Dear Members,
SHUTTLE F/AS - PBGC ESTIMATE MAILING
Some of the Shuttle flight attendants did not receive their PBGC estimate mailing. After further investigation, the PBGC advised Paul Frishkorn, MEC Benefits Chair that these estimates required more research. The MEC Benefits Chair is still waiting for confirmation of a date of the mailing.
We will be advised accordingly. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact your local officer(s).
RETIREMENT MEETING W/MEC BENEFITS CHAIR AND PBGC REPRESENTATIVES - BOSTON
It was confirmed yesterday by the MEC Benefits Chair, Paul Frishkorn that the PBGC agreed to come to Boston for a Retirement meeting/seminar similar to the recent meeting in CLT. A tentative date selected is January 10th, 2007. The reason for this selection is to enable members to plan ahead. A decision was made not to schedule the meeting around the holiday season.
More information on location and times will be provided as they become available.
