LGA/DCA DOWN GRADING BASE
MANAGER'S POSITIONS TO SUPERVISORS
The company has decided to down grade the LGA and DCA base
managers positions to a supervisory level. Base Managers Ms.
O'Leary and Ms. Haynes-Windham are in the process of determining
if they will accept these terms. The company has decided that
Mr. O'Brien current base manager of BOS would over see the three
shuttle bases.
It has been totally irresponsible of the company not to provide
this job down grade information and the reasons for it to the
flight attendant group especially in these shuttle bases. It has
caused all kinds of rumors and for the company to not think that
this information would become known to the employees and cause,
especially for the flight attendants, unnecessary worry is fool
hardy.
When will this company ever start really thinking of how the
employees will be affected? They don't, plain and simple. AFA
has requested that the company provide an explanation via CBS
message to the flight attendant group.
Please continue to contact your local In-Flight office for an
explanation or to answer your concerns until a CBS message has
been posted.
