Dear Members,

Female Uniform Local Chair elected

Heather Santello was elected for the Female Uniform Local Chair position at the April 7th, meeting. No other candidates were nominated and no male candidates contacted any officer or rep expressing interest. Any male candidates interested, please contact the LEC officers as an election must take place and if necessary, we will include another election on the agenda of the April 24th Local Meeting.

Merger Info Rep volunteers

Thus far, Flight Attendants - Faye Oppenhiemer and Karen Moberly have volunteered to be BOS Local Merger Info Reps. Once the program is fully underway, each Merger Info Rep will receive a bag tag for identification and receive first hand knowledge of negotiations via e-mail. Merger Info Cards provided to each f/a will have bullet points of the negotiations. Should any f/a spot a Merger Info Rep via their bag tag, you may ask questions or clarifications regarding the bullet points on the card and the Merger Info Rep will provide information taken from the e-mail they have received. Merger Info Cards will be placed in mail files. Any additional questions regarding merger negotiations may be directed to the MEC/ LEC Officers.

MEC Newsletter

Coming soon to your mail file will be the first addition of the MEC Newsletter. It is anticipated that a MEC newsletter will be available twice a year; One in the spring and one in the fall. Information/articles will be provided by each MEC Chairperson.

BOS AFA Boards

Please review the BOS AFA Board's new BOSTON 411 section. Various scheduling situations and other information will be listed for review.
