Dear Members,
Understaffing Pay Protection
If you have put in a claim for Understaffing due to the LODO
position not being covered and it was denied, re-submit the
claim. John McCann/Manager of claims was contacted regarding this
issue as many flight attendants have been denied the pay
protection. By virtue of the company designating a trip for this
LODO position, the company has determined that the additional
staffing is needed to meet the service. If the LODO position is
not covered the flight attendants are due the Understaffing claim.
John McCann has advised that the claims department will go back
to review those claims that were denied to make the necessary
corrections/adjustments. My recommendation to anyone is to
re-submit the claim information and note: Understaffing pay due
per John MCCann.
I have advised John McCann of the above being noted on the
claim to ensure it is reviewed and corrected.
Thank you.
