Reserve
Flight Attendant, Sherri Baker is the new Reserve Representative
in BOS. Sherri is familiar with the issues reserves are
facing and have experienced in the past. Her email address
is: sbaker@afausairways.org
A
Reserve Form is available on the BOS page located via the AFA
Website www.afausairways.org
when the form is completed and submitted, Sherri and I are on the
distribution list and are provided a copy. It is a venue whereby a
reserve can provide information/concerns/questions/ and get
clarifications.
Within
the next month or two, we are expecting one booklet for
information on contract language instead of several pages with
different implementation dates especially for the reserve
information. The company has stated, 60 days to complete the
process.
It
is our hope that we can schedule a meeting/meetings for reserve
Flight Attendants to review and understand the new contract
language. Please take the time to review the changes
pertaining to a reserve flight attendant. In addition, once
the new contract booklet is complete meetings regarding all the
language are being considered.
########################
Any
flight attendant can provide information regarding Scheduling
issues via the Scheduling Form located on the AFA Website. I
have contacted Chuck Cannaday/AFA Web Administrator to add my name
to the distribution list. When a form is submitted by a
BOS Flight Attendant, it will also go to Lcaramello@afausairways.org
address. In the past, the form would go to just the
MEC/Office/Web Administrator and then it would have to be
forwarded to the Council President representing the Flight
Attendant. A form, at times, would be received a day or two
after submission. This change should alleviate this
deficiency.
